About Hine Psychology

Jason is the founding director of Hine Psychology and has over 20 years of experience as a consultant psychologist. After completing his Masters Degree in Psychology at Monash University Jason commenced his fulltime psychology career with the Student Achievement Centre and Cheetham Consulting Group in 2000 and became the practice professional director in 2001.

Jason established his own company in 2008 with the vision of continuing to provide professional and practical psychological services in order to help both children and adults achieve more satisfaction and success through their life, learning and working experiences.

Professional Experience

Over the course of his professional working life Jason has undertaken leadership roles in group personal development training; management and corporate liaison, including 9 years with the Doxa Cadetship Program and 8 years with the Skyline Education Foundation Australia Bursary Program. Through his psychological consulting work with young people and adults Jason established a diverse client base and provides a broad, yet sensitively integrated range of individually tailored services.

Jason has a true passion for helping, training, developing and guiding people through their time of need. He has an honest and down-to-earth communication style and is able to quickly build rapport and trust with clients given his warm and supportive nature.

With two children of his own and having worked with thousands of people, Jason has cultivated a deep understanding and knowledge of child and adolescent development, family life and the many challenges confronting adults today.
